You can't buy adderall online, and even if you managed to find an overseas source (you won't), it would be very dangerous to import because it is a Schedule II drug, translated to mean "barely has any acceptable medical use and you look like a junkie to the DEA". You would receive more than the casual warning letter that Customs would send if they opened a package of modafinil or benzodiazepines.

Please tell your doctor that you think you might have ADD and let him take it from there.

Do you really think it would be that easy to get my doctor to write a perscription for adderall? Don't most doctors usually play around with other medications before going to one of the more potent ones?

That depends on the legitimacy of your need for prescription stimulants, as conveyed by you during your appointment and as interpreted by your physician. If you seem like a responsible person that is in desperate need of ADD medication to fulfill school or work responsibilities, you are very likely to be given a trial prescription of adderall or ritalin. If you seem like a kid that might enjoy abusing drugs, you can be sure you will be given less effective and less abuse-prone alternatives like strattera or denied entirely. Also, different doctors are more or less enthusiastic about prescribing this class of drugs and that is another variable you have to consider.

Yeah I understand your pioint. One thing I will make clear with my doctor when I go see him is that I will only take the medication when I feel that my focus is completely out of whack. Because I am defiantly not trying to become dependent on amphetamines which seems to be the case if you take a drug like adderall daily...

The only way to get it is through a doctor. Unless you buy it on the street somewhere. If you get it through a doctor you're going to have to convince him/her that you have ADD, also you're going to have to go back there every month to be re-evaluated, and the minute you request a specific medication your ass will be thrown out. You take whatever the doctor recommends whether it be adderall or ritalin.

I found that, once I got an ADD diagnosis from a PsyD, my GP was quite amenable to suggestion when it came to medicating. I asked for adderall, he wrote me a scrip for it. However, doctors tend to be wary of drug seeking behavior (as they should be!). Do you have ADD? If so, it is definitely in your interest to establish this medically.

Good luck!

I can request drugs from my psych to, only because I was diagnosed in middle school and it's obvious I have this condition. But if you're a new patient you have to be very careful, especially if you're college age or above.

wow calm down guy. I need to go see I a specialist first. After reading other peoples symptoms with ADD I have found thAt I have very similiar ones. If my doctor does recommend Ritalin I will tell him that I do not want it becuase of the side affects associated with it. Same thing with concerta. Plus adderAll seems to be the doctor #1 choice when dealing with ADD. And I can recommend to my doctor ANY medication I am interested in. You know why? Becuase I fukkin pay him to sit there and listen to me. Ok guy?

Adderall does not look any safer compared to ritalin. Amphetamines or cocaine, take your pick (yeah, I know that ritalin is not exactly cocaine, but they are very close chemically and it sounds like -- not from personal experience -- that ritalin can be abused just as easily). Both have signicicant side effects as they are very powerful substances. A friend here forwarded me a site that sells ritalin online. The cost is reasonable and I did think of trying it...but importing a schedule II substance is not worth the risk.

It's cheaper to just get it prescribed. If you are using it to study you likely need it to study, or why are you taking it?

It's not smart to use it for some of the stupid uses people put it to like to play wow or study for 36 hours straight, but while some people have a hard time getting it prescribed once you are going with it it's one visit every three months then 14 bucks for the pills themselves. Much cheaper than 4 bucks a pill 'on the street' or web with a risk of getting arrested.

You are acting like an idiot. Just so you know this is coming from someone who has been seeing psychiatrists since middle school (i am now in my 20's) but obviously you know everything. Every drug has side effects, it's impossible to know what ones you'll get or how you'll react to it unless you try it, so NO they just won't put you on your drug of choice just because you have some sort of delusion that one drug will work for you better then others when it is impossible to know this unless you've tried

Most doctors will start a patient off with Ritalin and move to Adderall: Adderall appears to have more abuse potential, atleast from the opinion of recreational drug users.

And yes, Doctors come in different flavors. If you fit the mold for an individual who displays drug-seeking behavior, and not a legit patient, you will probably not get what you want.

After I was diagnosed with ADHD the only medicine I can think of was Adderall. Then, my doctor suggested me to try Adderall. I found Adderall at incredible prices without a prescription at Spammers Anonymous. Good luck.

Cool story bro.
