Why not potassium iodide instead at RDI levels?

Agree with not having kelp. The oceans have a lot pollutants.

Yeah, so you can get your extra arsenic.
Can't go along with you on this one, 100 percent RDI as potassium iodide would be my choice. Since the majority of people here probably don't use table salt or munch down seaweed, and the food sources for iodine are sparse, I see no reason to limit it that much. Plus, it's a safer form.
