i dont believe iron should be included... higher iron levels are dangerous for many reasons.

None for men or post-menopausal women. Unless we are going to make a pre-menopausal women's version, then iron is something that should be obtained as a separate supplement if not from diet.

If (they deem it) necessary people can supplement iron on its own. Including it is indeed too risky.

Oh my mum came and asked me I had any iron tablets... apparently she has an iron deficiency. I tend to think either she's not eating enough red meat or she has some sort of bacteria gobbling up all her available iron. Taking iron tablets it not a good solution in the second case.

I even said that I take lactoferrin which binds to available iron and would consider IP6 to chelate iron.

Despite what I said there is now a bottle of iron tablets above the kitchen sink that she has bought and it presumably taking.

Nooooooooo. Is there going to be a "Lead" or "Plutonium" topic when I scroll down? I'm pretty sure this is something EVERYONE has the knowledge to not want to include.

I wonder if it's the same person who voted yes here as on the fluoride poll?
