Yes. [zinc glycinate, 30 mg / q.o.d.]
any reason for the higher suggestion considering the high bioavailability of zinc glycinate?

my suggestion is 11mg, 100% DRI as albion glycinate or l-optizinc
I like this (11mg albion glycinate).

I'd be happier with a little more zinc, at around 15mg, but that's a biased suggestion (since I tend to be lowish in diet for zinc). 11mg would probably be best for most people, unless you wanted to go a tad higher, with the idea some people may not take the full dosage.
Any zinc absorption studies where they compare zinc glycinate vs optizinc? Or even against something like zinc citrate?

Or even against something like zinc citrate?
zinc glycinate had superior absorption and distribution (a problem with citrate) compared to citrate, picolinate, gluconate & suplphate i believe. i cant find the study but i posted it a while back...

I think q.o.d. means every other day, and he's just stating what he currently takes (I am guessing)
Yes, I take my zinc glycinate every other day [ie., q.o.d.]
Product I take:

If the dosage is low as you suggest to make it, then it better be cost efficient. That way, there's no need to half dose it unless your intake is REALLY high for some reason.
