Contribution levels index for accruing points

The following is just a guideline. All you really have to do is report what youve done for the month and we figure out the status you have reached at the end of each month for you.

Find your team below to see what levels of participation may also grant you what status. These statuses will be assinged point values in the near future.

1). Art Team

minimum= any function performed by a team member to help the art team, up to 1 hour of work
active= 1 through 5 hours of work
extraordinary= generally 5+ hours of work, up to the team leaders discretion


The main things that a piece of art includes are a drawing, painting, banner, and other as decided by the Team Leader, to be amended into this list.

2.) Internetworking

There are two classifications for the Internet Outreach Team.

a. Primary tasks performed for internetworking include adding dialog that talks about this cause in:
  • comment sections like youtube, blogs, and others,
  • responses in unrelated outside forums,
  • additions of topics in places like unrelated outside forums, stumbleupon, other
  • other such places listed in the teams pinned area, where discussion and awareness of this cause can be had.
Primary tasks shall all be assigned one set of contribution values.

b. Digging good topics that support this cause is another task that the team performs. Diggs shall be assigned a separate contribution value section so that they can be assigned different point values.

The team leader may decide to add more, or further categorize these, to be amended into the above list.

3.) Editors

minimum= any function performed by a team member to help the editors team, up to 1 hour of work
active= 1 through 5 hours of work
extraordinary= up to the team leaders discretion


4.) Outreach


A. VIP Outreach
There are two classifications for VIP Outreach.

a. Snail mail and/or phone gain points by posting the name of the person they are sending the letter to, the letter they are sending, and a verification when it is sent. The posts must be made in the team topic goals found in the Outreach section.

With phone the person must post the name of the person they are going to call, post what they are going to say, and then post what the people on the phone said when they are done.

b. Email gains a person points when they do the same as with snail mail.

5.) Moderators


minimum=(8 points): at least one moderation action.
active= (18 points): at least 4 of these: reports, banning action, warning issued
Extraordinary= on recommendation of fellow Mods - dealing with a protracted issue, detective work, getting an horrible but unjustified mauling from miscreants.


6.) FAH
(new, points not yet assigned)

7.) Engineers

minimum= any function performed by a team member to help the engineers team, up to 1 hour of work
active= 1 through 5 hours of work
extraordinary= up to the team leaders discretion


8.)Chapters

Core team:

minimum= any function performed by a team member to help the chapters core team, up to 1 hour of work
active= 1 through 5 hours of work
extraordinary= up to the team leaders discretion


Chapters themselves,
  • Earn 100 points every time you attend one of your chapter meetings.
  • Earn 40 points for reporting your minutes in your chapter section.

9.) Projects

People who participate in projects acquire monthly points at the Team Coordinators discretion.


10.) Bonus Points
Additionally, the teams may earn points by doing the following:

participate in an open Wednesday meeting (20 points)
Get recruits for your team. (100 points apiece)




If you have questions or comments then let your team leader, the teams coordinator, or a board member know. We are ready and willing to meet you to go over things at most any time.
