K-RALA
R-LIPOIC ACID, K-RALA™. R-Lipoic Acid (RLA) is the natural form of Lipoic Acid used in much recent research, and is more effective in mitochondrial ATP production and in glucose uptake than the normal 50:50 mix of R and S forms found in ALA. But, besides being expensive, RLA is unstable and becomes useless when it polymerizes into a rubbery or glue-like substance with even moderate light, heat, or moisture. Also, like any ALA, the powder irritates the mouth & throat. However, K-RALA™ is a stable, non hygroscopic, potassium salt of RLA that won’t polymerize and requires no special handling or refrigeration with a shelf-life of at least 3 years at room temperature. It is very water-soluble, bioavailable, and non-irritating. Also, the extra processing needed to make K-RALA™ removes residual solvents found in all regular RLA. Capsules contain 100mg of bioavailable RLA from 250mg K-RALA™ powder, along with D-biotin. (Powder is 40% RLA, 20% potassium, & 40% FDA approved inert carrier.) This is a premium product made in the US, but unlike regular RLA, with K-RALA™ your body gets to use what you are paying for. 90 caps, 100mg each, $24.00 Code 508.7

This is from the BAC site; it says that 250 mg KRALA = 100 mg RALA.

So the stuff Rizzer sells to get 600 mg of RALA daily you have to take 6*250 mg = 1500 mg KRALA?

perhaps not. Assuming it doesn't have that 40% inert carrier, and assuming those figures you provide are by weight.

You would need to take an extra 40% or so

Official response from Geronova:

K-RALA is 40% active RLA, which means 100 mg of K-RALA is 40mg of RLA, so
you would need 250mg of K-RALA for an active dose of 100mg RLA.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your interest.
