I really have no comment on the video, but I'm sure some know those in the paleo community that need to expand their thinking a bit.

I just started watching this. At about 5:00 in he's basically talking about nutrigenomics and the importance of it as an established dietary scientific motif.

What he has thus far stated about how people come along and basically say that 'everyone' should be on a specific macronutrient rationed diet reminds me a lot of gary taubes and, of course, our own member Duke.

It astonishes me how people can have such arrogant claims with only observational data and very unclear correlatives.

That is why experiment and self observation, plus the prospective field of nutrigenomics is the best we have available currently.

That was AMAZING. I didn't understand every single chemistry reference, but I got most of the connections enough to develop a big picture of the overall schematic of what he was getting at RE: the extremism of dietary speculation based on epidemiological 'evidence'. He does nothing to obliterate hypothesis, he simply says that hypothesis is, when all is said and done, just a question that needs answering.

Seriously, I couldn't care less about your thumbs down. Stop being such brats with the 'rating system'. It's childish. If you don't want to admit that you don't have a fraction of the answers you believe you have, then you are in serious denial. But at least explain your thumbs down, or not. It's up to you really. But remember, arrogance is blinding.

it would be nice if he pointed out specific foods with safe lectins and saponins.

I wonder what Forever21 thinks of this paleo guy's looks:

Dang (he is 35). For context I was just referring to this thread when asking Forever21 the question:

Every Paleo website and book should have a picture of Mark Sisson as a warning label.
