I cannot see the logic in precluding nanotechnology based upon a religious bias. That is unless you are a Quaker. If God exists then the possibility of having a truly original thought is null. All things would have to flow from the divine or be a perversion thereof. If technology is a perversion we are all going to hell. Everyone from the stick poking monkey to the man typing this post is tainted by innovation. But I regress. Perhaps this belongs in the Religion forums.

Well, religion is mostly everywhere and nanotechnology will be mostly everywhere in a few years just like plastic today, as you imply. If most of the planet is religious, obviously, they will be taking anything new with a religious bias (Or just ignore or stay oblivious to the issue). It is going to be interesting to see how both clash or how religion adapt to it though.
I thought that myself but the truth is, it belongs to both forums.Perhaps this belongs in the Religion forums.
