This should be by far our largest event ever. It's been 10 years since Aubrey was last in Vancouver. Don't miss it!

We're making lots of progress on planning this conference. We now have five fantastic speakers confirmed including LongeCity forum members Aubrey de Grey and S. Jay Olshansky and have nearly sold half the tickets. There is the possibility we may have a significant media presence there in the form of a team recording a Canadian documentary as well. Find out more and get your tickets before the price increases at the end of the month:

Thanks for the update Carrie. For us unfortunate souls who could not make the trip, could you please post some comments/highlights/pictures of the conference on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Just to give us a tenuous connection to the action.

Steve Nygaard has posted some beautiful pictures of the event on his Facebook. Unfortunately I was not able to post updates during as I had no internet access for 44 hours surrounding the conference.

We have close to 100 gigs of video and audio that we will begin working to get edited and placed on Youtube for those who could not attend and those of us who want to watch some of the amazing talks over again. It could take a few weeks though.

For some reason, I can't see the link to the photos in your post; then I hit "reply" and it's magically quoted in the box! Is this intentional, or some weird bug?

(I don't use Facebook; shouldn't these photos be up here on LifeSpan BC's Longecity pages in any case? And was there no video, and did no one take conference notes?).

I see that there are videos posted on the LifeSpan BC' YouTube channel. Much good stuff! Congrats to the organizers.

It's unfortunate that I live on the other side of our country, would have loved to go! Is this an annual event?

We have held conferences in 2012, 2013, 2014, and we are planning one for 2015. When more details are known for this year's we will post it up several places including on our Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/LifespanBC/

And it is certainly worth considering coming out. We had a guy come up from California for the last one as well as plenty of people from other cities, states and provinces.
