Wow, I thought all probiotics were the same.Had no idea there were so many choices.  I believe I have a histamine tolerance issue (rash around eyes when drinking alcoholic or fermented beverages(Kombucha) ao am looking for a probiotic that helps to suppress histamines. My understanding is that most yogurt and probiotics have just the opposite effect.

After reading several articles I believe I need a probiotic containing bacteria infantis and bacteria longum.

Here is one review

http://nourishingplo...ted-probiotics/

and based on that review here are a few products that seems relatively affordable.

Bio-Kult Probiotic

http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B004XKUD78

and PRO-15

http://www.amazon.co...words=probiotic

and one more Align (contains ONLY infantis?)

http://www.amazon.co...words=probiotic

Any other suggestions? I was considering VSL#3 as well but seems very expensive!

There are probiotics that create HISTAMINE as well as reduce it.  Do your homework on this or you'll create more problems than you solve. Here's a couple of good places to start your research:

No, it contains a single strain. Bifidobacterium longum subsp infantis 35624.

Increasing copper helped me more than the probiotics for histamine issues.  Copper and histamine have an inverse relationship.  You want to make sure however, that you don't get too much.
