If you know someone, who is rich, then you may contact that person and explain him/her the benefits, that (s)he can get by pushing the science of stem cells further.

It should be enough simply to say them, that sooner or later, there will come a day in which the death will start knocking on their door, and then their money will loose their ability to help them, because the money are means - they can purchase what is purchasible at the current moment, but can't purchase something, that don't exist, and the cure for their disease simply will not exist at the time when they will be dying. This is why they have to imbune money into developing the treatments, that in some future day will be life-saving. And that the cure for the diseases, that they will be dying from are the stem cells made transplants. Say them to remember what their parents have died from, and show them the progress on stem cells, that can treat this condition.

Stem cells research seems to be well funded currently. The same for gene therapy. There are areas much more in need of funding, like elimination of advanced glycation end-products or allotopic expresion of mitochondrial genes.

Will these both - elimination of advanced glycation end-products or allotopic expresion of mitochondrial genes - make us immortal? I think, that they only will increase our life span, but can't immortalize us. On the other side, the stem cells can.

You need all of them, apart from other SENS therapies.
