What is best way to take astragalus membranaceous root product? It seems that main chemicals of interest in root for telomere lenghtening are cycloastragenol and astragaloside which are not soluble in water so for best bioavailability different solvent might be needed. Both chemicals seem to be soluble in strongly polar solvents such as DMSO, ethanol, methanol, acetone and not soluble in weak polar solvents. It is also claimed that it is not recommend storing the aqueous solution for more than one day.

Some websites claim cycloastragenol is fat soluble, while astragaloside not soluble in fat and in other place claimed soluble. I hope I could use oil or other safe home solvents for preparation but I need advice from people with good chemistry knowledge.
