So I read that people with ADHD have too many dopamine transporters so dopamine has less time being active they get used quickly. Which means ADHD people are always stimulated becuase of the constant low activity of dopamine? Also people with ADHD have lower dopamine in the frontal lobe and its smaller ,all due to just having too many dopamine transporters. So would it be as easy as just inhibiting DAT with drugs like wellbutrin, Ritalin ,concerta etc? If you can inhibit the dopamine transporters(DAT) dopamine will have more time being active and thus help with your ADHD, becuase dopamine is not being transportet so fast.

anyway im just curious how it all works. I might start concerta soon .
