This is the FIFTH large long-term HUMAN STUDY on aspartame showing no link between aspartame consumption and cancer. Can we now finally put this issue at rest?

BTW, the Italian rat study they refer to appears to be crappy, which is expected as their report went against existing huge body of knowledge on aspartame. Suffice to say the female rats taking aspartame and purported to have more cancer actually lived LONGER than the controls (which incidentally caused higher cancer rates on few cancer subtypes on aspartame treated rats, as control rats had probably died of other cancer types earlier) .
