Quality of current cryonics questionable, due to shrinkage, other molecular issues, right?

Revival from true death (not hibernation) does not exist in nature, therefore Bayes' Theorem

tells us science discovering how to revive dead has low chances...?

But what about this?:

Science advances to point where we optionally go for brain scans that DO capture

all connectomes, molecular info, etc., but has not yet advanced to "computer revival"

of our scans -- it will come decades or century later...?

Say we have annual WBE scan on our birthday Jan 2 every year, starting age 30.

Say  we are age 81.5 & unexpectedly die on a Jun 2.

Our last half year is lost when at some point in future our last WBE scan

is loaded to computer & we become revived at 81.

Perhaps future science uses our pre-81 annual scans to

"maximize" our revived sense of continuous self...?

THE POINT: CRYONICS IS NOT NEEDED...

Comments on this scenario appreciated.

Especially, about how close we are to accurate WBE scan for future revival...?

Considering that recent discoveries/theories suggest memory storage is done via DNA https://www.sciencen...am-neuroscience I think that kind of high-enough-level scanning (down to DNA & RNA level) is further away than being able to biologically repair tissue damaged from freezing.

memory storage is done via DNA

OK. So DNA is not just chemicals directing chemicals to construct-demolish, but chemicals triggering brain chemicals to "remember"...

DNA sequences of entire organisms has been accomplished, right?

What is basis for stating, "scanning (down to DNA & RNA level) is further away than being able to biologically repair tissue damaged from freezing"

Isn't taking detailed pictures of an undamaged building much easier than perfectly repairing a damaged building?

(remember, this is about preparation for future revival, which may take additional decades or centuries)

Its a laymen's analogy, but...

Not down to the molecular level needed to restore it to be exactly the same.

The analogy was MACRO, not molecular.

Still waiting for answer:

What is basis for stating, "scanning (down to DNA & RNA level) is further

away than being able to biologically repair tissue damaged from freezing" ???

Regarding first part: so you're content with someone "generally like you" and don't care for an exact copy with your memories, etc.??

2nd part is only based on my limited knowledge of current capabilities, which seem very limited.

b. 2nd part is only based on my limited knowledge of current capabilities, which seem very limited.

a. false tangent

b. OK, anyone free to express opinion based limited knowledge "which seems very limited"

Still hoping for authoritative responses-comments.
