So, now we want to inhibit P53 and P16 ?  I suppose that within the homeostatic context of staying alive this is explainable.

What supplements can do this?

I think this therapy is based on a drug that activates p53 and thus leads cells to apoptosis. I didn't look at p16 but it may be the same thing.

There are some phytonutrients that activate these signaling molecules (quercetin, resveratrol, selenite, etc.), but they may do so in very different ways and they may come with a host of other physiological effects.

It's confusing.... "gene therapy..deployed against P53, P16'.

I couldn't make out what they were doing from that article. I clicked through from that page to a presentation about the therapy. Assuming it's describing the same study, the goal seemed to be to target cells expressing p53 and p16 for destruction by activating those apoptosis pathways.

So, maybe it involves using P53/16 as a target and not increasing/decreasing their general expression at all??????
