A-1377, a confidential whole body member, was pronounced on June 17, 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He became Alcor’s 158th patient on June 18. Unless I'm missing something this should have been the "ideal scenario" with a relatively young patient (arteries intact), family and hospital support, SA standby, and seamless transition from ventilation to stabilisation. Goes to show that there is a lot of room for optimisation even within the current paradigm.

 

It is good to see Alcor publishing this material which hopefully can be supplemented with more information and further analysis,

Agreed. Publication of the case reports is invaluable.
