Please name a list of monoamine releasers you think could be potentially therepeutic. hopefully the safest ones are emphasized.
Also it would be great it people could pitch in and upload any papers referring to potential disorders of monoamine release. I haven't explored this too much surprisingly but I think I did start chipping away at it at some point.
I always wished there was a mild monoamine releaser that could be used chronically as a therepeutic tool for my neurological issues. It seems like there are so many complications with all the ones out there- whether it be pharma, grey market , or black market. And yet, in all my years alive, I have come to speculate that part of some of our disorders could have something to do with monoamine release. like maybe there are disorders of monoamine release where neurotransmitters are not released in the appropriate manner, hence your brain is like permanently abnormal. It's probably way more complex than that but I like toying with these speculations if I can get away with it safely. It's especially good if there are many specific directions you can go in, you know. like for example with MDMA and how it causes oxytocin release to get triggered. So it's flexible in the sense that, if there is some disorder of monoamine release, there are probably multiple diseased states that could be targetted by specific drugs. I know ADD/ADHD meds are like this. My brain really doesn't like them though cuz it interacts with my mood disorders .. even though I do have ADD/ADHD. Annoying as fck.
I know, I'm fully aware that some of the above is oversimplified, still it's an interesting idea I want to explore so.... Have At Me.
I just remember there have been some experiences I had with such a class of drug where it literally removed my mental illness and made me feel like a normal functional person. not 100% but like having that functionality while at the same time being altered.
I wonder how stuff like ECT and related therapies affect stuff like monoamine release.....
