What would the benefit be of one compared to the other? SNDRI will increase serotonin, dopamine and NE by inhibiting uptake and an maoi would increase all 3 as well by inhibiting monoamine oxidase. So what is the main difference? Which is safer? And why do you rarely see psychiatrists prescribing Maoi’s but They prescribe SNDRI’s all day long.

Maois do not just raise the level of the 3 main neurostransmitters, there are a lot of other secondary neurotransmitters that are affected to, like PEA. Then the non-selective maois that get used have some other unique pharmacological effects, which are also part of their working.  You do get some kind of synergy effect from that all that I guess, because I have tried the effects of a SDNRI cocktail 2 times and tranylcypromine feels way more effective to me, especially over time.
