Hi,

I'm brand new here and was wondering if I could get some advice, thoughts...I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis a few months ago. I'm 54, post menopausal, small frame....I have a special condition that keeps me from treating this the way I would like. I have one copy of Factor V Leiden so I can't do HRT, and I'm hesitant with large doses of Vitamin K. I am now taking Garden of Life Raw Calcium. I break open the capsules into a smoothie and take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. It has K2 MK7 which from what I'm read is essential to get the calcium into the bone and causes less of a risk than Vitamin K1. I have never had a blood clot and am not on blood thinners. I also have been taking a tablespoon of Great Lakes Collagen in my smoothie as well. Another issue I have is swallowing pills so that makes things really difficult. I try to open up any capsules and mix them in liquid.

Any advice I could get would be so much appreciated

Sandy  :)

For bone health in general you need Sirt1, female hormone, vitamin D and calcium.
You can take Tru Niagen to increase Sirt1 which is the most important factor for bone health
You can take DHEA which doesn’t raise female hormone levels in the blood
