NR also prevented weight gain of old mice.

There are 3 clinical trials listed using NR to treat cognition impairment at clinicaltrials.gov

wow, very interesting !

Seems this was done in china by chinese researchers and not the usual suspects of Sinclair et al

We found that NR supplementation improved the short-term spatial memory of aged mice, and the contextual fear memory of AD mice. Moreover, NR supplementation inhibited the activation of astrocytes and the elevation of serum NAMPT of aged mice. For AD model mice, NR supplementation inhibited the accumulation of Aβ and the migration of astrocyte to Aβ.

Patent trolls have to be salivating in regards to how NR suppressing amyloid plaque here

More good news, hopefully it keeps coming

It has been pointed out that serum NAMPT induces inflammation. Reducing serum NAMPT could potentially reduce inflammation.

Serum NAMPT is an inflammation marker. If NR reduces serum NAMPT, it means NR reduces inflammation.

There is no cure for late stage Alzheimer’s disease. But it can be prevented or delayed by taking NR from middle age.

You forgot to add in what species NR influenced the progression of Alzheimer´s disease. Someone may mistakenly think these results pertain to humans. But I fixed that for clarity.

Although it has not been proven in clinical trials, science and anecdotal evidences say it will eventually be proven. Many old people say their brain fog cleared after using NR. There are 3 clinical trials on cognitive impairment listed on clinical trials.com.

Agree. There is no proof that NR or NMN can delay Alzheimer´s disease in humans.
