There are a lot of threads going back a few years with information but maybe it would be good to open up an new thread for 2019 to track the new research and findings. It's early 2019 but has anyone found any new links that they would like to share or have any new information?

heres a review of NMN for neurological conditions that just published last week.
I haven't had a chance to really scrutinize it yet. About the only thing I noticed is they focus a lot on IP injections of NMN and how it might cross the BBB.
A few quotes I notice:
There are several reports showing that intraperitoneal administration of NMN can significantly increase brain tissue NAD+ levels within 15 min post-injection ([65, 66], for review see [67]). This suggests that there is an active transport of NMN or its metabolites into the intracellular compartments, where it is converted to NAD+
Interestingly, although not all the enzymes required for generation of NAD+ from NR or NMN are present in plasma, already 5 min after an intraperitoneal injection of NMN the plasma NAD+ levels increased significantly.
They also cover a lot of results from using NMN for certain Neurological conditions, but I haven't noticed anything that really stands out.

Seems an important review to me. If it was known already that NMN can act as a direct inhibitor of PARP1 and CD38 it has escaped my notice sofar.
(This thread would perhaps draw more attention if it were moved to/replaced in the NAD subforum.)

Here is a discussion with David Sinclair, an aging researcher, about NMN.
TL; DR; for aging he takes NMN (1g), resveratrol (500mg), and metformin (1g) daily, aerobic and anaerobic exercise, time restricted feeding. He is a busy man, so he doesn't have time to optimize everything in his life, so he is not involved in nootropics or have huge supplement lists. For supplements not already mentioned, also takes Vit D and checks his blood for whether he is missing something. He is concerned with iron intake / supplementation, because he thinks that the excess of it is bad for cells (in vitro).
