Can anyone recommend a good source to buy it from? I found Limitless Life Nootropics and UK-Peptides but both seem sketchy. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I'm interested in the answer to this question, as well.

Although I don't have experience with any of them, I did find the following suppliers:

https://www.oceansla...ed-[100mg].html

https://biotrendshk....e&affi=Promo111

https://www.peptides.../epithalon-10mg

https://extremepepti...epithalon-10mg/

Thanks for the sources, I may also be interested in Epitalon.

On another thread on this site, it looked like someone was organizing, in 2017, a group buy of Epitalon and Thymalin from Genscript.  Someone else in that thread had purchased Epitalon from https://nootropicsou...ory/peptides/.

One commentor, sciwalk, apparently works for a lab in Hong Kong or Thailand.  He wrote, in response to a question or two, "We have various labs and universities we sell to that test it from time to time.  We also reverse HPLC every batch.  We have had retail customers sometimes test it without telling us in advance.  We understand the skepticism, it's healthy.   We have been in business for 15 years.”  His profile lists, as a website, https://biotrendshk.com, which is in the list of those that you already found.

Did you see the information below in the following thread?

Here are some key points posted by madfern:

"Suppliers know that they are competing on price and will most likely quote for the crude peptide.

The crude peptide contains various adducts such as acetate salts, halogens, Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) residues.

“TFA is the one I would be most concerned about because TFA can cause liver damage.  But then,  Halothane, some of which metabolizes to TFA, has in the past been used extensively as an anaesthetic agent.  So, you have to do your own assessment to see what the risk might be.

“Most people do not know that they can ask for a desalted peptide (approx 25% more expensive).  However, desalting does not remove TFA adducts.

“To get a TFA-free peptide, it must be manufactured without using TFA (more difficult but doable) - another question to ask the prospective supplier.”

Another supplier is https://teamtlr.com/...-ac-epi-98.html

Their site says "“The acetyl variant, Acetyl Epitalon, provides far superior metabolic stability and pharmacodynamics."

Just a note of caution acetyl epitalon seemed to have a sedating effect > 36 hours for me, which was unpleasant. Somewhat like a melatonin overdose but longer acting.

Cannot report this to be the case and I was taking 2x10mg/d Ac-AEDG subQ for 10 days so it must be just you.

Would these points also apply to the oral version of the supplement being sold commonly on Amazon?

Regarding the oral version of the supplement not surviving digestion:  could we just dissolve this in distilled water and supply it as an enema?   Drugs delivered near the rectum would bypass hepatic circulation entirely, and you would not have the destructive effects of stomach acid of alkaline bile to deal with.

But obviously you would want the solution be be pharma grade material, because you would be absorbing the contaminants not only the nutraceutical that you want.
