Inspired by the CILTEP stack I've been designing a stack to chemically induce Adult Hippocampus Neurogenesis (AHN). AHN/hippocampus volume is decreased by things like stress, sleep loss, alcohol, THC and it's linked to depression, PTSD etc. Increasing AHN can be done with exercise, sleep hygeine, CBDs, inhibition of GSK-3, and SSRIs. One hypothesis for why SSRIs can take up to a month to work is that they function not through boosting seratonin levels, but that they induce AHN.

Glyocogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK-3) is something of a master signal protein, phosphorylating/interacting with 40 other proteins. Interestingly it seems to be quite over-expressed in bipolar patients during mania and under-expressed in schizophrenic patients. Lithium is a competes with Mg2+, and is a non-allosteric inhibitor of GSK-3. Other interesting GSK inhibitors include indirubin and zinc while CBD and Ginseng seem to increase AHN.

Working Stack:
Lithium Orotate 10 mg
Zinc Orotate mg10
Indirubin/Isatis Root Extract (?)
Panax Ginseng (>40% Ginsenosides) 210 mg

full CBD extract 7.5mg in 0.5 mL

Has anyone taken Isatis Root Extract before? I can’t seem to find any which list the dosage of indirubin, which is the ingredient I’m interested in.
