I have some methylation problems and am interested in improving levels of s-adenosylmethionine (SAM-e).

As far as I can tell, SAM-e is formed from METHIONINE and MAGNESIUM.

SAM-e is very expensive, so could I use l-methioine along with magnesium instead?

Be carefull with SAM-E, it is not as safe as it seems. Also methionine id stay away from, your choice though.

Long story short messing with methylation is deep down the dark rabbit hole, stuff such as cancer suspectabiliity can be controlled there (hint: lots of cancers love hypermethylation states).

Do a search if your interested why as I cba with the copy paste atm.
