It would seem to put a damper on coffee during fasting, which I know is a subject of debate.  But it may be specific to hepatocytes and not matter in the rest of the body.  Maybe Green Tea becomes preferred then during a fasted period.  IDK.  Someone should probably contact Jae Park.  Based on his bio, he has spent a lot of time on javamide.
