While reading another thread I saw a post about N Acetyl Glucosamine possibly called NAG being used for anxiety.  I wanted to try it.  I got 700mg and took one, and then increased to 3 per day during 3 days.  For the first day I felt a little decrease, maybe, and as I increased it it got more and more, but it's not really less anxiety, more like I was just more relaxed... not relaxed, just less high strung, so I didn't care... as much... about being anxious.  Supposed to be good for stomach too.

But then I stopped, and the increase in OCd was bad enough that I don't want to take it anymore.

THere was another effect, nonetheless, and that was increased libido.  Perhaps not libido, but morning wood.

Did not notice any change in joint sensation.

Seems like it has interesting possibilities especially given the reviews on Amazon.  I would postulate that it's probably better for anxiety in those individuals that have IBS/IBD/Chrohn's or Ulcerative Colitis because it's likely their anxiety stems from having an inflammed or leaky gut.

My wife had UC for 15 years before getting a colonectomy..so I've witnessed the anxieties that come with that disease. Definite uptick in anxiety whenever the condition would flare.
