Hello, I took 1500mg of NAC today in hopes of it helping with my gut/GI tract and liver issues. My stomach is bloated not becauase of fat but I believe it has to do with some sort of liver dysfunction. On the right here https://en.wikipedia...i/Liver_failure you can see a picture, mine is not as bad but that's pretty much what I have I think. I did experience a few effects acutely upon taking NAC, I breathe easier, my breath smells better I produce more saliva, I'm more calm and I think my skin looks better... This is day 1.
Q: How long will it take for NAC to fix my bloated stomach? Because I'm aware in hosptials they use NAC and it has an effect immediatly but how long does it take to to recover your liver and GI tract to 100% if that is possible with NAC and its glutathione effect alone?
