That headline is not true. There´s no real evidence that NR increases libido in anyone. Anecdotal anecschmotal.
Four participants. "Self reported" increased libido.
C´mon. Not controlled and just FOUR PEOPLE. This is really reaching. It´s beginning to look like desperation from the Chromadex camp.

@MikeDC: this subject was briefly discussed in another thread already, so no need to start yet another thread.
Brenner calls it an observation and that is what it is. It fits in with the reports of some men in the Personal Experiences thread. I was one of the men who posted about it there some years ago.

Self reported is more meaningful than if it is the goal of the study. No report from the placebo arm. They should do a study on libido for both men and women.

Just one more anectdotal experience ( i am 40):
When i took NR (250 mg/day) i didnt know what to expect. I was hoping to look younger, get better skin or grow more hair.
However, among the most noticable things i experienced was increased libido. I took finasteride (against hari loss) some years ago and still suffered from from a low libido for years: No morning erections, little interest in sex, sometimes problems of getting or holding an erection.
With NR all of that was suddenly gone. Morning erections? Every day. Sexual problems? None. Interest in Sex? A lot more than before, but not as much as with 20.
Besides i got a little lower blood pressure. Maybe there is a connection, i dont know.
Sure, that all is anectodical and only a personal experience. But as far as i can see it it cant be placebo because (1) i didnt even expect that and (2) some of these outcomes are quite objective (like having morning erections always).
