Hello everybody, I’m RJ.

I first became interested in nootropics a couple of years ago, mainly to try and help get my brain working at full capacity.
I had a stroke when I was a young boy which left me with some damage mainly to my left hand side, I cant tense certain muscles and don't have much control over my fingers (dexterity) & over the years I’ve noticed a rapid decline in things such as memory, concentration & mood.
Recently I’ve started taking Bacopa & I think it’s helping somewhat, but not as much as I’d like. I’ve tried modafinil but it makes me jittery & a bit spaced out.
I’ve heard about the CILTEP stack & would like to try & make my own so any advice on herbs and/or formulas which could help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

R

The Russians created a peptide for strokes called Semax. It works by increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) that repairs any damage you have experienced. Semax should also help with focus and memory.

For your muscle issue, use P21. It's a CTNF (ciliary neurotrophic factor) agonist that helps with the nervous system, in extension it should give you more motor control.

These would be my suggestions for you.

Brilliant I’ll look into this.

I was going to suggest that you look into things like bilberry, pine bark extract, or grape seed extract for their ability to increase blood flow if they are advisable for your condition. Looks like pine bark extract and grape seed extract can reduce stroke risks, but you may be on other meds that already do this and will have to compare the risks, benefits, and efficacy. You could certainly take less of the pharmaceutical and add the supplement in most cases, though it might be a little unorthodox. You're asking for more than people usually get, but LongeCity is full of optimistically oriented people. Otherwise, it should help to deliver more semax faster to the affected tissues as that also sounds like a good idea to me.

Hey YOLF.

I’m not taking any medications for the stroke, I’m interested in semax but also anything that can possibly boost my brain.
I’d come across the CILTEP stack on the web, that’s what led me here I’m exploring all avenues.
Thanks for all your help

R
