Ok so I’m someone who had a hard time with benzodiazepines along time ago and I try not to take anything that messes with gaba. I came across vinpocetine and picked some up. After doing research I saw that it potentiates gaba . Which I at least know means it increases the current of gaba. But does this mean it’s an agonist of the gaba receptor this causing potential for problems in someone like my self. I have also liked the article

Vinpocetin is said to potentiate the beta3 subunit of the gabaA receptor. The beta3 subunit isnt a benzo receptor. The benzo receptors are alpha1,2,3,5 and gamma1,2,3..

I dont think this will help you.
Also, Vinpocetine lowers dopamine activity which can cause depression.
