What those devices are useful for more?

Typ 2 diabetes is gradually developing. Most meassure only fasting glucose in the doctors office, while unchecked postprandial glucose might already clearly indicate one will be diagnosed T2D 10 years later. With a glucose meter one can check how much different foods will increase postprandial glucose, and if indeed high avoid those particular foods, and the diagnosis a decade later.

With postprandial testing one tries to catch the highest glucose spike. Which can be individual, and also depending on diet. Usually its 1 hr after a meal. But to find one's own spot best to test every quater hour, first from 1/2 upto 2 hrs.
