I have troubles with this purchase

https://www.rawfoods...tt-eko-50g.html

Its ment to be inside cocking as a spice but it is possible to use it as a daily supplement with suggested 2 teaspons daily

My mother needs this as a supplement, but it wasnt a hit to serve it in cranberry juice today :D or my vanilla yogurt yesterday (i couldnt eat it myself, so how should she)

I searched for paprica juice and some seem to mix it with blood orange juice, what do yout hink about that as a sweetner of the problematic red paprica food taste

There is alot of problems, she drinks wery little so i cant give a full glass of anything,

Im not allowed to put the powder on her plate (she lives on a dementia assisted living) and she would not eat it

It have to me mixed within something

Do you think a sweetener power? like surcralose would mask red paprica taste?

Or any other suggestions?

I think your best bet is to capsule it yourself. Peppers are pretty strong in taste. Are you sure she needs this? You can mix it with chocolate milk and sweeten that.

I see what you mean now, i took for granted you first ment a chocolate drink like

https://pucko.se

you can buy in grossery stores, and i think i should test that first

If it fails i might consider create my own chocolade drink if no other totaly different suggestions appear.

Check out this attached flavours, would anyone other than chocolate work on paprika you think?

Just curious, have you tested yourselfg chocolate and paprica mixture?

What sugar do you use? probably not powdered sugar from grossery store right? since that dont melt i think

I was going with cocoa powder because that would at least be somewhat healthy. I personally with you stevia as a sweetener as it is to the healthiest option. It's up to you to choose what sweetner. Paprika is not known for its health benefits. Perhaps the question you should be posting is what can I do to help x. That being said if you can't swallow pills most things will taste gross. Your best option may be to make the tiniest pills and see if she could swallow those.

I tested today with proffesional chocolate milk from the store and it had a really intense choco-taste but it turned out my mother

taut that with paprika was the most horrible combination she have experienced ;) so unfortently i must skip to consider buying chocolate stevia taste, its no idea.

Or it could also be that she dont like chocolate drinks who knows.

However i wont give up, and i hope you guys dont either, what else could conceal paprika?

I think you should google "Paprika health benefits" one more time acctually.

It contains eye pigmentation xantofylls for example, and my mother have early onset alzheimers with extended visuospatial symtomts.

She have tld me she can only eat small amounts of red paprika, that is a clear sign of compatability....cause you see she have abandoned all other kinds vedegetables during the disease progression

I cant make small capsules either, her doctor have forbidden her to swallow capsules, cause they get stuck in throat, and i have experienced the horror when that happens and you dont wanna be

in that room, so there is no way i will make her swallow capsules any moore

Update

I first tested with peanut-butter, i tried to melt it in the mircowave, but it refused to melt to something drinkable

I have no idea wheter peanut mix with paprika why i dont dare to purchase those floverdrops with peanut taste, its just

that there is a relation between peanut taste and alzheimer's.

What do you think, can they merge?

I also purchased some kind of sweeter stevia powder from gross store, she stil taut it tasted bad, and i kind of agree

Not sure what the problem is here. Paprika has a generally pretty mild flavor, and is in widespread use in a lot of cooking. It gets used quite a bit in soups, stews, and often times in Mexican or Tex-Mex food.

Not sure why you're trying to mix it with chocolate milk? If you're trying to get someone to take it as a supplement just incorporate it into their dinner?

Yes but my mother dont like the paprika taste from this supplemented powder offcourse, but says she can eat small amounts of paprika only

But her dementia denies her from eating it in practice :) unless we realtives or the staff suggest her to take a paprika piece on her food place,

and she might do it only somethimes...but then the dose are to low to make a difference anyway, therefore i purchased rawpaprika powder to give as a supplement so

we are neither depended on wether sweet paprika fits the food she are being given to lunch while im visiting, and the condition s gets worse causeshe is living on a assisted.dementia institution or whatever the english name is for it?

How would you ask the staff who serve her food from the collective pott to take it away to the kitchen again to pour 2 teaspons of paprika rawpowder onto it and stir it into some must be! sauce

also. The staff have neither time or are allowed to handle my supplements, im not allowed to be at their table, im not allowed to mix with their food.

So we must find somekind of snack that i can handle and give myself inside my mothers room. I have tested vanilla yogurt but it tasted shit with paprika she ment :)

Well i got the advice from the only person exept you now....who replied me and suggested me mixing paprika with chocolate, so i tested chocolate milk but on the other hand my mother dont drink milk but she likes chocolate

But are you into believing chocolate and paprika can mix or not? thats the first thing i wanna know.

I have 1 hour before lunch acces to visit.. cause of Corona limitations, and i cant make her full stomach before lunch, its allready enough that im giving her some vanilla yogurth with cocoa

that i cannot mix 2 teaspons of paprika powder into casue it will ruin the taste, so the only alternative i have is a liquid of some kind that masks the taste better than rasberry and cranberry juices does according to her.

Are you with me on the conditions we have to work from? :)
