Coming up this Friday on the Longecity Now podcast is Dr. Michael Lustgarten of the Human Nutrition Research Center on Ageing.


His research currently focuses on the role of the gut microbiome and serum metabolome on muscle mass and function in older adults. Dr. Lustgarten has been a guest lecturer at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy on topics such as the gut microbiome, serum metabolome, oxidative stress, exercise, and sarcopenia. He has contributed to 25 publications in leading peer-reviewed journals that have been cited more than 2,400 times, including 17 manuscripts as the first or last author.

Some of you might have noticed Dr Lustgarten has made some great videos and posted them in the forum. I am excited to get a comprehensive picture of his regimen and goals.

This one is now live on the podcast page. It is amazing what Dr. Lustgarten has been able to do - keeping his biological age much lower than his chronological age - through nutrition and lifestyle management alone - with very few supplements.
