The thyroid labs I found are:
tpo
tsh
t3 total
t3 reverse
t3 uptake
t3 free
t4 free
t4 total
thyroglobulin antibodies
thyroid peroxiase
tgab
tbg
tsh antibody
My physician only does TSH and T4. According to stop the thyroid madness that is insufficient. Is this accurate? Should I get any more to detect problems?
what tests should be used to correctly evaluate thyroid status?

I was recently diagnosed as having "sub clinical" hypothyroidism with a borderline low TSH of 5 and my symptoms. I was given low dose T3 and feel 100% better. My TSH is hovering around 2.4 now. In terms of testing I did:
tsh
t3 total
t3 reverse
t3 uptake
t3 free
t4 free
t4 total
thyroglobulin antibodies
None of these tests indicated anything significant except my borderline TSH.
