The WHO has declared that Covid-19 is no longer a world wide health emergency.

So what are people in this little group still doing in regards to Covid? I suppose the responses could range from "Nothing at all" to "Locked down, Masked up, on my 8th vaccination".

I'm in the "nothing at all camp" at the moment, aside from occasionally checking in on the local and global graphs on new infections and deaths. Things on that front are looking very favorable.

The last person I knew personally to die of covid did so in August of 2021. There have definitely been deaths due to covid since, but not anyone in my extended personal acquaintance. I got covid last August and came through it pretty well. Omicron variant almost certainly.

In my local area I'd say 99% of the people seem to be going about their lives. I do occasionally see someone masked up in pubic, and every now at then the proverbial "person masked up alone in their car" but that's becoming pretty rare. Those of you that are still taking some measures - do you have a endpoint metric in mind that would signal to you that the pandemic is past and the need to take countermeasure is over?

Nothing, except looking back at the public health response and advocating for better leadership and science-based policies in the future

I'm back to my old pre-pandemic self, though I still tend to avoid bellying up to the bar & talking with strangers in close quarters.  Vocalization is what generates the aerosol, and distance what dilutes.

I don't fear minor exposures, and actually feel they may act as natural boosters to the immune system if you don't get a big enough inoculum (close vocalization) to cause symptomatic disease.  As we learned from the isolated school kids, if you avoid any exposures at all to any pathogen, your immune system tends to go into hibernation.

I never did much in the way of masking. I wore a mask in public and at work when it was absolutely mandated, otherwise I did not. I never avoided going out in public and started going back to the restaurants when they reopened in my area (end of May - early July 2020 if memory serves).

I did take 25mg per day of zinc gluconate and a couple of hundred mg of quercetin daily throughout the pandemic. Still taking the zinc but not the quercetin.

I got covid early August of 2022. I kept running the quick lateral flow tests and kept coming up negative but did decide to stay home one day (a Thursday). Just for grins I re-tested on Saturday and came up positive and did a couple of more tests that day that were positive as well. Saturday was the only day I tested positive. Weirdly I was significantly past the worst symptoms which had been the Thursday I stayed home. I did experience lost of smell and taste for a day or so but the negative quick test convinced me it wasn't covid, only to turn up positive on the weekend.

So I had covid and essentially missed a day of work. It did leave me a bit tired, but that resolved in a week or so.

Maybe it was the zinc and quercetin? Who knows.

I went to Disney World with the family last October. I must have literally filled past thousands and thousand of people in those serpentine lines everyone has to queue up in. Neither me nor my wife got covid, and she did not get it from me when I had it a few months earlier.

We just drove from Wisconsin to Arizona with no special precautions. The only places that still require masks are some hospitals and clinics. I took 1 HCQ tablet as a prophylactic, otherwise I am back to my past regimen of NR, D3 and C60.

I am still taking NAC and Nattokinase in an attempt to detoxify from the vaccines. I can't tell if it is working, but my blood pressure is under control.

During the largest part of the day I am not wearing a mask. I put my mask on when I have to interract with someone who looks ill or caughts or sneezes.

I still have my innovative charcoat filters, anti viral clothing, non sweating medical gargles and face shield stored in case of new covid pandemy, but I am not using them currently.

I am still avoiding infections as much as I can in conventional ways - see my topic here https://www.longecit...entional-means/

Not much. I try to maintain healthy Vitamin D levels but no longer take Echinacea as prophylactic. I'm not quite convinced Echinacea is that effective? It did have additional anxiolytic effect through cannabinoidergic mechanism (I think) but that faded away in continuous use when I took it during the pandemic.

I haven't gotten sick with anything at all since 2019.  I'm still wearing an N95 in grocery stores, doctor's offices, etc.

I have Xlear and black tea(always) on hand

I already take protoelytic enzymes(Neprinol), but I would increase the dose if sick
