Any Canadian who detest it?, or anyone for that matter? Sure the Canadian flag doesn't project any power, unlike some other countries' flags which may have swords, lions and the like; However the maple leaf image can be view as misleading. Its flag may be lacking when showing strength but Canada nonetheless is a powerful country rich in resources; When mobilized like in World War 2 the country can be a tough opponent. Canada has proven to be a peaceful country and it has a flag which is reflective of its qualities albeit the flag might be deemed by many a wimpy design. I personally think the flag is decent. ....And no the maple leaf was not put on the flag indirectly advertising Canada's delicious maple syrup to the world. [sfty]
