A warm bath always saps my energy, yet I often take one for the immediate relaxation and pleasure.

Does anyone have thoughts on the longterm and short term effects of warm baths?

Do you think that the energy draining effect is cumulative? If one limited warm baths to immediately before sleep, would they leave one less energetic the next day?

Should warm baths be considered a vice? Beneficial in moderation?

I've heard it lowers sperm counts, but I don't know if that is true or not. (I supposed it might depend on how hot the water is)

warm baths before bed are great

use Epsom salt + essential oils for added relaxation

Keep the hot -> cold -> warm showers to wake you up in the morning

It lowers the sperm counts because sperm cells like a temperature around 34,4°C. That’s why your testicles are outside your body.

Warm baths are relaxing and relaxation can make you sleepy. It doesn't sap energy so much as make you desire to use it less. Warm baths are good for recuperation and stuff.

I don't see why anyone would care about a lowered sperm count unless you were actually trying to conceive a child. Sexual things can sometimes indicate health, lke a lowered sperm count from a nutrient deficiency, then you worry about it, but not as a reaction to simple environmental things like temperature.

Warm baths make me breath heavily when I go out. But I also feel like baths hit more places than shower alone because you miss some spots, but I do both respectively . cold baths not sure.
