Christianity vs Atheism Debate

It would have been much easier just to argue for existence of God instead of taking the extra leap. I guess they figured everyone knew they were Christian, and they were probably trying to "convert" some "lost souls", so they tried to use it as an opportunity for that, but they could have at least put up somewhat of a fight if they would have taken the more defensible position intellectually.

Proving God exists says very little about the truth of christianity.

Yes, it seems like it would be much easier to prove only the existence of God than the existence of God + the fact that He is the Christian God and the Bible is true and we know the correct interpretation of the Bible.Yeah, that is one of my biggest contentions with most arguments for christianity. Nearly every argument presented by christians make the fallacy of excluding the middle. They assume that the options are atheism or christianity... As if there aren't an infinite number of other possibilities.
Proving God exists says very little about the truth of christianity.
I suppose that their whole worldview is based on the fact that they have to be right, so they choose to try and prove something much harder. (and in my opinion so often fail.)

Checkout the free booklet Marriage and Family: The Missing Dimension, at http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/FM/, for more information on the benefits to you and society of a stable, happy marriage. It only makes common sense that a stable. happy marriage will strengthen all concerned against stress and contribute to a longer life span.
Hhhmm, if Christianity provides for such "robust" marriages, then I am confused why these statistics indicate the opposite reality... [glasses] [lol]

Well thats easy, its because all of those people who call themselves christian, aren't really christians. As far as I can tell, the only real christian on Earth is the one you are talking to at any given moment. All the rest are fakes.Hhhmm, if Christianity provides for such "robust" marriages, then I am confused why these statistics indicate the opposite reality... [glasses] [lol]

That's probably the statistics for those practicing the false, counterfeit Christianity. See http://www.tomorrows...item=1140203084. If marriage is practiced within a communal setting and according to God's law and Christ's teachings, it will work and be a real blessing to the children and the community that benefits from well adjusted children.Hhhmm, if Christianity provides for such "robust" marriages, then I am confused why these statistics indicate the opposite reality... I should've put it that marriage doesn't do well under traditional Christianity and capitalist coditions. Some may make it work, but as the statistics show many don't. Marriage and family life will work much better in a communal setting where God's law and Christ's teachings are practiced to the fullest extent possible. Communal studies suggest this.Damn those counterfeits! Ruining it for all those real christians!
