"Richard Dawkins gives an overview of sex ratio theory and sexual selection using examples found in the Galapagos. Q&A is mixed-in near the end.

This lecture was given on a recent trip to the Galapagos with the Center for Inquiry."

I found it pretty informative. [thumb] I like how he brings economics into the equation for the stabilization in terms of offspring produced.

They were aboard the Santa Cruz (makes me want to take a trip on it, because it sails through the Galapagos every time), evidently, and it was a cruise for the Center for Inquiry.

Here he is on the deck for about a 5 minute video talking about Darwin and his historic trip to the Galapagos.

Here is another lecture on Neo-Darwanism by Dawkins on the same cruise:

Here is Dawkins reading the new preface to "The God Dillusion" for the paperback edition of the book (from the same cruise):

...and here is the Q & A period following the reading (more interesting than the reading, imo):

Just as an aside that I figured out by browsing through the above videos: if you do a search on Google videos for "Center for Inquiry" (click "sort by date" to see them ordered by newest) then you can find all kinds of interesting videos on lots of different things.
