I don't know if this is peculiar to me, and I can't figure out the appropriate forum to post it in,
but is anyone else having a problem with sending PM's and editing their posts?

No, but the plants and leaves in Anthony's banner ad above are moving all around and sh-t. It's starting to freak me out....

After a few days -- don't know how long-- the ability to edit posts is expires. What you said when you were too drunk to stand is cast in stone for digital eternity.

PMs I've no problem with.

That's right. The edit limit used to be unlimited, then around the time of the software changeover, it was set at 48 hours so that people couldn't rewrite history. Recently I heard that it was reduced to one hour. At least it's not 2 minutes like at Digg. PMs? I dunno. "Don't drink and post" is always good advice. If Anthony's leaves are moving around, I suppose "Don't drop and post" would be more appropriate.

I'm worshipping at the altar of the polyphenolic god that is Resveratrol.

Edit by Niner: The "G" should be capitalized.

Yeah, there is a limit on how long you can edit posts for. After a couple days you can no longer edit posts.

We did this because we were having trouble with people going through all their old posts and editing them to say different things/blank all their posts/insert spam/etc. long after they made them.

PM should be working fine.

Oh, thanks. My PM's are working now. Did you do something? They weren't working before. I got
an error message about having to have more than two words in the message field, even †hough I did.
ETA~niner's right. It was a very short time period. Not a couple of days, but a couple of hours.

Missminni, I know what happened with the PM- I do it all the time too. You forgot to include a subject line. The box for it is not obvious.
