Hello all,

First post from a longtime lurker.

A heads up--I received a shipment of nicergoline today from Nubrain with broken seals.

I ordered three boxes of the stuff. Each box has three packets inside. Box A had two packets with extensively broken seals; Box B had one packet with one "slightly" broken seal; Box C was intact. No pills were missing (if we assume the opened ones are genuine, of course).

Scary! The boxes were all pretty crushed--my hope is some overzealous packing somewhere along the way cracked these things open.

I've emailed Nubrain and am awaiting their response. If they're forthcoming about this, I'd still order from them again. The shipment was quick (ordered Saturday night, received in northern California on Thursday), and the package was shipped domestically (= no customs).

Weird. It does look like a shipping problem, like it had been compressed. Is it possible that decompression in a cargo hold could have been responsible? If they replace it, they are pretty upstanding, imho.

They've already responded to my email...

these must have broken in transit from europe
first time ever happened
we will replace these and send
an envelope for you to return to
us so we can forward to supplier

sorry about this

Seems decent enough. I'll follow-up if/when the replacements arrive...

I have been dealing with nubrain for over ten years. Once or twice I have received a messed up order but they have always made it right.

Received replacement today. Very decent of Nubrain and I'm happy with the whole process.

I've received one or two damaged pramiracetam (PramiStar) packets from NuBrain. A few tablets had been exposed to air due to breakage of the foil covering the blisters. One or two tablets were noticeably damaged. This was mentioned in one of my e-mails to them, and they did not volunteer to replace it.

Also, there was one order for centrophenoxine that was never received despite a reminder. It is possible that with further reminders and more vigorous complaints, the centrophenoxine might be received, but I lost interest after I received plenty of centrophenoxine powder from a different source.

In general, however, Nubrain has been reliable enough, and I might order from them again.

hi alpha2a,

What is the "other source" for centrophenoxine that you mentioned?
