I found this data point somewhere and now can not find it in my notes; does anyone know how much magnesium it takes to max out the magnesium receptors / cell receptors that take in magnesium? I read it is about 500mg if take at once, I believe I have used many combination of search terms on PubMed and I can not find that information anymore. While magnesium competes with calcium and zinc for the same cell receptors, apparently taking a multi mineral formula needs to be examined for total mineral content and availability. Otherwise a lot of minerals are going to be urinated or sweated out of the body. I hope someone has this data and also any links or references to supporting studies. Thanks in advance.

I am also using bisglycinate from Albion with moderate success as well as looking at genetic issues related to my magnesium metabolism.
