I think he's saying that if open-ended lifespans become a reality, ImmInst will not be needed.

Well, sure. Im confused. Do you think that we think that the point is to continuously build imminst indefinently? Once the workers are done sand bagging the flood then they can go do other stuff, if thats like what your saying, yes, I agree.
