On the reasons for so few, probably because there are not that many people looking a cryonics petition in google, there are not that many people interested in cryonics overall, and fewer yet that sign up for it. It would be great if more people promoted the petition though ;-) I plan on writing an article and using some quotes from it, that would likely get some more signatures.

I've decided NOT to sign this petition.

Briefly skimming through its text I wasn't able to find out whether it advocated the negative Right to cryonics (which can be recognized and defended without government intervention), or some alleged "positive right" to government-served cryonic research or services at someone else's expense (which might benefit me but as a person who recognizes the Rights of others I certainly would not support).

I will not beg governments to give me what is mine by Natural Right, which will only legitimize their bullying, and I will resist them if/when they violate those Rights - by any means necessary!
