David Pearce is a British visionary who promotes the abolition of suffering in all sentient life.

Pearce's views are most prominently presented in The Hedonistic Imperative, a manifesto in which he outlines how genetic engineering and nanotechnology will ultimately, and permanently, eliminate all forms of aversive experience.

Hi Bruce
It's great to hear from you - Imminst is wonderful!!! ...and thanks for the invitation.

You're warmly welcome to use anything I've done.. writing for a web-based audience, I tend to use hyperlinks in my essays rather than traditional scholarly footnotes, which means stuff might need a bit of editing.
I'm not sure what would be most suitable for your target audience - perhaps the defence of paradise-engineering on http://huxley.net/index.html ??
The most recent thing I've done is just a phone interview with RU Sirius [ transcript http://www.huxley.net/temp/groovy.doc ] last week that hasn't been published yet. but summarises "where I'm coming from".....perhaps I could write up some of the themes for a self-contained essay ( though alas I often promise and don't deliver)

I will defer to your judgment here about what's needed here.
Very best wishes - and thanks again, keep up the fantastic work.
Dave

Dave,

Great to finally make your virtual acquaintance! I love your site
and shall alert the editing team of your generous offer.

Alas, I've been unable to access the links you've given. I suspect
this will work itself out soon.

And, please feel free to summarizes/contribute any piece you
feel inspired to do so.

As we’ve been fortunate to receive a number of wonderful essays
thus far – expect more books going forward.

Let me know if I can do anything for you.

Bruce Klein

I'm not sure that any of this stuff is directly relevant; maybe if we have room in the end for (another) article to illustrate that immortals won't be bored?
