*Remember, to be on the team, you only have to do two things like this per week. If you do more than two, you only have to note down two of them here, but you can do more if you want. You dont have to be on the team to contribute, you can add contributions here randomly too. The difference is that being a team member has a few small and a few huge incentives that come with it.

Keep up the great work Bogger! Thanks a ton for joining Nevyl!

I commented on about 5 forums topics in the INW team last week. Didnt write it in here or get the breaker in because of the 4th of July holiday weekend though.

Breaker for week of July 5th to July 11th. Add at least two additions for the week here before the next breaker.

Thanks for you contribution Nevyl. Im thinking about possibly changing the weekly contribution of 2, to a monthly contribution of 8, with one monthly breaker. What do you guys think? We have 3 team members now, and 2 or 3 that will probably be coming back. Once the team gets to around 8 members I think that the action it creates in the active topics section will help self propel the team. At that time we are going to be needing a team captain to step up to take on leading this team. If anybody wants to consider that then let me know.

I dugg and commented on 51.

When there are more team members we will get some more outside forums momentum going. I cant wait to see the potential there really start to shine. We've already gotten a glimmer of it, and it is bright, very bright. Free world marketing, all we have to do is diversify where we talk about it.

I think about that once a month thing. Maybe we'll switch over to that this month. Ill get boggers ideas on it first.

So do you think we should have people go to these links directly, or is it a good idea to stumble a digg? because if you can stumble a digg then the best way to add to the team using stumble might be to stumble diggs. These then wouldnt count unless they were stumbled from digg. Do you know what I mean? This will shore up the team more and make it cleaner to navigate and contribute to with max efficiency. So add these to digg if you want. That would be pretty time consuming, other wise, a good thing to add for to get back on the team would be to go and stumble at least two diggs quick. We will send these links to bogger though. Unless you add them to digg then he may.

And yes, promote that laser ablation grant fundraiser when you can. Ive doing it right now, and will be around promoting it all night.

Thanks for your continued entries. Its motivating and inspiring.

As we discussed, lets try 8 per month with a monthly breaker now instead of 2 per week with a weekly breaker. Im also thinking, we can try this later if you guys think its a good idea, that we could start a topic for each section and eliminate or rely less on the internetworking team wiki page. Then in say the "Digg" topic people will list the diggs they added and the ones they dugg there. Then probably what would happen is the team captain, (me until somebody interested in the position steps forward,) would create a topic called something like, "Internetworking team monthly contributors" and then list the people that made their 8 by the last day of each month. Ill then use that list to add people into the prize drawings and to build a list of all volunteers to send to the newsletter person. The team captain could also collate all the monthly entries in the wiki where they are now, or in an edit of that section topic, or both, or neither, what do you guys think?

Remember that of course the meeting is still optional, It will grow when the team membership increases. When imminst starts putting out more and more advertising and as the awareness generated by this team itself starts to reach a certain critical tipping point then the membership and participation levels will start to spike and we are going to need teams like this to help absorb their attention, ambitions and stuff like that. So it seems to me, I could be wrong, that your being on this team is part of a critical upcoming need we are going to experience.

August breaker, get your 8 in before the end of the month to remain on the team.

Help in what way? If you add it to digg then we will digg it.

You can get more than 8 if you want, so add at any time. It will help inspire more. When you add, it helps lead the team. You only need 2 a week like you were doing if thats how you want to get 8 in for the month.

Rather than add them to the wiki, Im thinking about starting two sections in topics for now, digg, and outside forums. We can excel at those until more members join who may want to fire up more sections of the team, such as blog, twine, video, etc...

Then at the end of the month or at some time, I, or somebody else can go and collate all the new entries in the topic by editing the topic. That way these lists will be more prominent in the forums here. Somebody might stumble upon this team and see a long list of diggs in the topic, they will then be more likely to go through and digg some or all of them right?

I just made a post on my blog about the lipofuscin laser research grant:

Want to Help Anti-Aging Research? Here's Your Chance

I tried to make it kind of mainstream and just add links to the more technical data.

Thanks JLL. That blog link would work good if added to the digg section. You would have to add it to digg first and then link to it though.

That would be best. Although, if you want to you could fire up the "Blog, Article, Creative Writing" section. If you want to do that then let me know and we can get a team section started for it in its new forum set up. It already has a bit of content in its old imminst wiki location but we have moved in to the forums now.

This topic is locked now. The new topic for general discussion on this is here. http://www.imminst.o...t=0#entry339273

I hope you all like the new format. I think this is going to work a lot better, although we still always have the option of changing it back and or continuing to modify this team for the better.
