Henry Allingham, The oldest man in Europe celebrates his 113th birthday...

He seems to be very frail though, It isn't nice to be blind, almost deaf and in a wheelchair...

Life is not a dance on roses at 113 (currently)

Yeah hes not communicating that well either, I would be surprised if he makes it past 115. There are currently more healthier male super centenarians that have more chance of breaking the male longevity record.

This man seems to be doing good at 112

India's oldest man swears by meditation and Vedas

At 112, Pandit Sudhakar Chaturvedi of Bangalore is a year younger than Allingham. So, what's the secret of his long life, free of diabetes, blood pressure and arthritis? Rather staid stuff -- loving (doesn't include wild women though), laughing, strict vegetarian diet, vitamin tablets and a passion for the Vedas.

...........

He works for eight hours every day. He gets up at 3.30 am and starts reading the Upanishads and darshans. Two hours are kept aside for meditation.

......

Apart from regular check-ups, he hardly goes to hospitals. All thanks to the yoga he used to practice regularly," said his granddaughter. "He also makes sure he eats less than he craves for," she added.
