Moderators: B0gger (bogger, lets do these all like Gavrilovs blog there at the bottom. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this.)

Add articles to digg that promote indefinite healthy life extension and we will add them to the list here, or digg the ones in the list. *Note: You have to go sign up at digg.com and add them. Dont just leave articles saying things like, "heres a good one to add to digg". Things like that likely fit in the Blogs, Articles and Creative writing section.

Anybody can add to this list as a helper. To be on the team read the guidlines and indicate that you want to Join the Team Here. Topics about the cause only. Discretion is the final decision of the moderators.

Do not spam. Do not flame. Show support for the cause in general. Only name drop when it is a natural part of the discussion. Other wise, people will google the cause themself if they are interested.

Kurzweil predicts that with the ever-accelerating rate of technological change, humanity is fast approaching an era in which our intelligence will become increasingly non-biological and trillions of times more powerful than today. This will be the dawning of a new civilization that will enable us to transcend our biological limitations. In Kurzweil's post-biological world, there will be no clear distinction between human and machine, real reality and virtual reality. Human aging and illness will be reversed, world hunger and poverty will be solved, and we will ultimately cure death.

52 http://digg.com/political_opinion/Pro_agin...ee_encyclopedia The "pro-aging trance" is a term coined by Aubrey de Grey to describe "the impulsion to leap to embarrassingly unjustified conclusions in order to put the horror of aging out of one's mind"
To bring this to people attention, this article was nominated for deletion on wikipedia. Some sort of debate was held and it was recommended it would be merged with Aubrey de Grey's wikipedia article. I do not think this should happen. The proaging trance is important enough to stand on its own. We should all go on to wikipedia and support it to be it's own article.

I dugg and commented Nevyls entry, which makes 2 contributions down, 6 to go for the month. Your entry will be labeled #60 and added to the topic list at least once per month.

Vgamer, I dont know how listing things here with out adding them to digg first is going to work out but you we can try it out if you want. Maybe somebody will take it upon themself to add them. It could help that way, but if they dont it might glum up and get confusing as to what has and hasnt been added to digg, we can see though. It might work out great.

Hi,

I added this if its useful (found via LEF newsletter, it wasn't in Digg so I added it. Most of LEF newsletters just deal with immediate health issues so aren't as useful, this one was more useful). Added dumb description, don't blame me for being unoriginal!

Thanks, I just dugg and commented it.

By the way everybody, this section of the team is looking for a moderator, an the whole team is looking for a captain. Right now Im the captain, vgamer had to step down, but is on now as the moderator of the outside forums section.

I need to hand these teams off to captains though so I can continue working with and help build the other teams as we forge on.

If somebody wants to head this section, all you have to do is edit these all into the main list once a month at the least, let me know who all has contributed for the month at the end of each month, recruit, answer team member questions, and lead the way by sticking to the monthly minimum yourself. This can all be done in litterally less than 30 minutes a month. You can do as much extra as you want from there.

Your entered in the prize system for this. Please do consider.

I really liked this one ... Technological Singularity music video.

Anywho glorifying aging is wrong and should be corrected. That's why I commented most of the videos such as this

All the entries up to this point are all added in to the topic.

You can help the cause and this team by adding links here. You dont have to be on the team to add a relavent digg link.

This list is here for us all to digg too, so digg away. We'll be holding drives to digg these in time.

Ok, I need a team work (at least tree men needed. If you have yahoo ID it will be swift.)
I wanted to find a transcript for Saul Kent's interview and I googled phraise "Growing old is a process by which you die"

As you can see, imminst was not mentioned a single time, instead of it only deathists' deathism.

Here is what I think we should do: we open this link third from the top in google result. One of us types in someting like this in propoer english "aging IS painfull, because aging=cataract=cancer=dementia=ostoporosis=stroke=programmed death" all of us + this answer, so it will be the first answer.

I think that Yahoo question is closed to answers now. I commented on the number one answer there though. I outlined the SENS 7.

Getting people to comment more like this will help a lot though. This is part of what the team is for. We are building these lists so we can all do this. Vgamer, Nevyl, and I do a lot of commenting on topics. We will also be doing drives once we get a few more volunteer hours going.

Thanks, besides inspiring more people to volunteer, every time somebody like you contributes it motivates people like me more.

Penny doubling effect everybody, remember. If you double a penny once a month for 35 months you end up with over a billion dollars. So when we inspire others to volunteer by volunteering ourselves, we are like those doubling pennies. So percentage wise, your contribution is really like a billion dollar donation at this stage in this growing and unstoppable movement.
