I know it's disgusting, disgusting. McDonalds has it at like 40 carbs. Crazy. But it's the mental sanity thing that I'm after and nothing will match that more than a filet o fish. Might get a shake shack burger too but right now I'm on LI and that won't be too easy. Taco Bell and all other sorts of disgustingness are on my itineray also.

If you ever do chemotherapy, consider fasting for two days before the chemo.
That ought to reduce the damage to healthy cells.

If such a scenario were to happen to me, I would be inclined to ingest large quantities of phytoplankton (from a reputable source), and I would not eat any veggies which were commercially grown.

When Tom Harper, the owner of a facility that grows marine phytoplankton, was diagnosed with a terminal form of lung cancer, intuition compelled him to turn to the phytoplankton. After eating small quantities of this substance, he found his health rapidly restored. Not only was the cancer a thing of his past, but his life-long challenge to maintain a healthy weight was finally achieved, and he was able to eliminate his use of insulin - a product that he had been dependent on for 17 years.

I have heard that simple baking soda (the variety which has no aluminum byproduct in it) helps with illness as it alkalizes the body. Low Ph is associated with conditions of illness. Diet affects Ph and medications prescribed by your doctor may also lower your Ph. It is critical so I would look into that as well.
Of course, one must try various things to see what they actually will do and each individual is different so quantities required to achieve results and regimens will vary,
But the thing with this is that it is simply food and not a drug.
IMO most cancers and illness is caused by deficiencies which occur through inadequate diet.
How many of us have an actual chemical analysis done on the food we eat even periodically?
Most likely nobody....we just take it on faith that the things we need are actually going to be in the food we eat in a form we can absorb and there won't be some other compounds which interfere with that process or toxins.
(*of course, I am not a doctor and give no advice, all comments are purely anecdotal and for research purposes only. Always consult a physician, but don't just rely on one as they are human and have been proved to be wrong on many occasions).

Implying that phytoplankton cures cancer... Right... Where does shit like this come from?

Shit you say, why are you so quick to fling excrement?????
Tom Harper had terminal cancer and using only phytoplankton experienced complete remission.
Why would you call that shit?
His family certainly don't think it shitty that someone they love has had such a dramatic reversal of fate.
Sounds fucking excellent to me m8.

Personally I don't believe in any "cure-all" magic pill either, but things like that do stand out from the crowd and should be examined further.

Garlicknots, have you heard of Dr. Seyfried? Livinlavidalowcarb has an interview with him re using calorically restricted ketogenic diets for brain cancer. He claims that he has done a study that shows that only a calorically restricted KD kills brain cancer cells in mice. His 2007 study does not seem to support that statement, and I cannot tell if his 2008 study does. He seemed to significantly overstate the (known) negative metabolic effects of unrestricted KD diets, so I lost confidence in him. That said, he could not have been more clear in his claim that he has done a study that shows that unrestricted KD diets do not have anti-cancer effects.

Anyway, just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Hmm, small update:

MRIs on 1/18/10, 2/12/10, 3/18/10 and now 5/21/10 all CLEAR.

I had IMRT from 10/18/09-12/06/09. No temodar/chemo just some diet and some supplements.

My doctor was pretty impressed while I was simply pretty relieved since this was my first bimonthly scan.

I'm going to go travelling a bit starting next week, but after that I will write up my supplement list. Not that the supplements were necessarily the reason I've been clean but it probably did help in some way.

Take care and stay healthy,

f/R
